I posted a before and during of me in a bridesmaids dress before but now I'm back to show how it looks now that I've lost 50 pounds! It's so important to take pictures because I don't see this much loss when I look in the mirror.

I had a royal blue bridesmaids dress sent in the mail that has been lost by Canada Post since mid last week. They have no idea where they put it and they think they may have covered my name with a “redirect” sticker as it was redirected twice. It was supposed to be delivered in Halifax, and I feel like it is still in the city somewhere. The wedding is on Friday and I need this dress. If anyone can help me with this, I’d greatly appreciate it. (The bride would too)!!
I've been dealing with the supervisor and she has tried, but really has not been of much help as her story keeps changing. But she did have lots of Canada Post looking for it.

Speak to the bride. We had no problem paying for my sister in laws bridesmaids dress as she'd just had a baby and was a bit short on cash. I think the bride will be understanding with dealing with your mom.

Wake up. Lay on phone until I get hungry. Eat. Check to see if someone wants to hire me. Cry when I see nothing new. Panic over having to buy a bridesmaids dress, shoes, and hotel room for 2 nights. Cry again. Bathroom. Eat. Submit more applications. Eat. Reddit. Pinterest. Sleep

So my fiancée just got a call from her sister/maid of honor, and she has gained some weight since buying her dress for the wedding. The alteration person said there isn't enough material on the dress to make it a size larger, and the only size left where they ordered it from is 4x. Does anyone know where to get a Modcloth A to Gazebo dress in a large? Help a brother out if you can!

Yes! I usually wear a 4-6 but I was a 10 in a bridesmaids dress.

I went shopping this weekend with all 4 of my bridesmaids and my mom (who is way too opinionated) and it was a huge success! I really wanted them all to have different dresses, in black, in chiffon, since its a July wedding. All 4 girls ended up with a dress they like and each one had a little bit of bling/embellishment on it to match my dress! It was the first time all the girls had been together and everyone got along lovely.
My mom kept freaking out beforehand thinking that they were gonna like take over and be really picky and bitchy about the dresses, and I kept telling her that was insane, none of my friends are like that, and they weren't, my mom was like "that went well" I TOLD YOU!!!! God. no faith, haha. One more thing checked off the list.
We also set up the tux rentals for the guys, and of course getting them all to actually go to the shop and get fitted is turning out to be the hardest part....guys are so difficult sometimes.
[Serious] women: suppose a male friend/family member asked you to fulfil the role of the best man at their wedding (IE wear a tuxedo and do everything the best man is traditionally suppose to do). Would you go along with it?

I was the "Best Man" in my brother's wedding but his wife had me wear a bridesmaids dress in the guys' tuxedo colors instead of a tux.
I would've totally worn a tux, though, that probably would've been super cute.
