The Rules

This subreddit is for a more shallow view on your looks.

Since conversation can get sexual, if at any point people are making comments that you, as the poster, think have crossed the line into inappropriate, bring it to a moderator's attention.

The Rules

  1. Don't question motives here as long as they're not posting excessively. Yes, sometimes pretty people don't feel pretty. Don't hate them coz they're beautiful.

  2. Don't dig up personal info. Posting anything that even looks like personal information gets you a ban and reported to the admins. Don't do it. Ever.

  3. Be honest but have some tact. Don't be a dick. Stay classy.

  4. Try to comment on people of your own sex once in a while. In general, guys get way fewer comments than gals, so try to share the love.

  5. Don't send creepy messages to submitters or post creepy comments. This isn't a dating sub; if you want to get to know someone better, sending them your sexual fantasy as a first message is not a good idea.
If you get any such private messages and would like to report the offender, you should message the mods of /r/ (the admins) with a link to the offending message--harassment is against the sitewide rules.

  6. Don't feed trolls.

In general, remember that there is a real live person on the other end reading what you write.

  1. If you're under 18, don't submit. You're too young for anything that could be said here to affect you positively. You're going to grow up, your looks are going to change, it's no big deal. Go outside and have fun!

  2. Better photos get better feedback. The closer your photo simulates how an average person sees you on a daily basis, the better. Heavy makeup, awful lighting, closeups, and dumb faces all result in worse feedback.

  3. Don't use social media sites or Photobucket as a photo host.
They're insecure and can be used to stalk you. Suggested photo hosts are,,,

  4. Keep it SFW. No nudes, no lingerie. If it's borderline (bikini, for instance), include a warning so people know what they're about to open.

  5. Don't post pictures that aren't of you. That means none of your friend or significant other, because protecting folks' privacy is important. They need to post their own pictures. Keep other people out of pictures of you (crop or scribble them out), because it's confusing for commenters and because people should have a choice in whether their pictures are posted here. People suspected of not posting pictures of themselves may find that verification becomes compulsory for them.

  6. Don't use this place as a hugbox. If you just want someone to make you feel better, try /r/mmfb and/or /r/toastme, which are both for exactly that purpose.

  7. Don't post more than once a month, unless you've seriously done something different. Don't repost at all unless you've changed or got very little feedback the first time.

  8. If you want to talk about the subreddit, message the mods, because odds are everyone's heard it before, and we're the only ones who are going to change anything anyway.

  9. No joke threads. There's too many possible jokes, if we allowed them we'd be flooded with them. M16, M5, M1, F-16, F-18, F-20, F-22, F-35, have all already been made. If you think of a new one, pat yourself on the back for being clever, but don't post it.

Edit your thread to remove the photos afterwards. Don't just delete the post, because that will leave the photos up. Delete the post after you have removed the photos. Keep in mind that even this doesn't mean your photos are still somewhere on the internet, or on someone else's computer now.

  • Don't upvote/downvote based on appearance. Upvote/downvote based on whether the person needs more responses. If the person has few responses, or you just think they need more than they have, upvote.

We just want everybody to have fun and indulge in feeling a little vain, too, if you wish. :)

So just how sexy are you, Reddit?

Instead of asking: "am I ugly?", here at AIS, we wanted to give you the opportunity to ask a more positive question. So go ahead and post. You know you want to find out. ;)

  • "How old am I?" posts are cool.

  • Number rating out of ten, with an explanation.

  • Things you think are sexy.

  • Show your whole clothed body (keep it SFW), and try not to post only 'myspace' shots.

  • Show your style. Multiple outfits are a plus.

  • Tell us a bit about yourself. Sometimes personalities are sexy too!

  • Honesty is a must.

  • Respect each other. For instance: give more than just a number rating. Why is or isn't this person attractive to you?

  • If you're queer or look it, you might be interested in /r/amiasexyqueer. Or not. You can still post here. It's no biggie.

  • Please do not make posts/comments NSFW.

  • Please don't post if you're under 18.
