This community allows music business people (musicians, composers, managers, promoters, music lawyers, etc.) to share their personal blog entries with other redditors.

While this might be seen as spam in most other subreddits, we encourage anyone to share his/ her own posts on any aspect of the music business, for any purpose (comments, sharing information and experiences, and even publicity).

What is welcomed:

1. Blog entries featuring one's thoughts about anything related to the life of musicians, music marketing, gigging, composition, etc.

2. Podcasts, videos and articles from newspapers, newszines, and other media created by the subreddit members (or featuring them).

3. Requests for guest blogging entries from members of the community.

What is NOT welcomed:

1. Pages that are literally just publicity (as in: "BUY MY RECORD", a button to click, some pictures and an infomercial copy)

2. Pages that are not blog entries (the "About" section of your website, Contact pages, links to your CdBaby artist profile, etc.)

3. Anything that is not informative, that doesn't debate an idea, and that doesn't enrich the community.

Submissions created from non-reddit members might be allowed, on a one-to-one basis (it's most likely better to post them elsewhere).
