If you're posting an ID request, please take clear, well-lit, up-close shots that will allow for proper identification. Also provide any additional information that may be pertinent such as where it was found, hardness, results of a streak test, weight, etc.

If you post photos that you didn't take yourself, please credit the original photographer even if it means spending a couple of minutes on Google Images finding the original source.
