Please read this entire text before posting :) It includes very important rules and options for posting. Posts are at risk of deletion if they do not comply with the rules.
1: Be respectful and civil to others. Don't be a jerk.
2: Feedback regarding passing should be both constructive and accurate. Both sugarcoating things and tearing people down defeat the point of the subreddit.
3: Photos should be useful for constructive criticism. Employing every trick in the book can make even your grandfather pass in photos, but doctoring and neatly posing everything defeats the point of posting here if you're actually seeking to pass in reality. No filters, extreme angles, makeup apps, camera touchup settings or grainy photos. The only acceptable edit is color correction for accuracy. We strictly encourage honest photos for honest feedback and/or CC (constructive criticism)
4: Creepy, fetishizing comments aren't welcome here and may be met with a ban.
5: Hypothetical or 'potential' questions aren't productive; please post those to /r/transsupport or /r/asktransgender. Your Mileage May Vary. We can't tell how someone will turn out. Some people have greater results than others.
6: Do not link to fundraisers, donations or startups that are purely for yourself. Linking to charities and/or non-profit sites for the LGBT community is ok.
7: Please tag anything remotely revealing as NSFW.
8: No stirring up trouble. Be kind and don't cause drama.
Please report anything you think is inappropriate or violates these rules.
This is a community that is meant for you to post a picture (video clip, sound clip, hologram) of yourself so that you can get other people's opinions on how well you pass. This is a place so that you can see if you pass, how well, and, if you don't, what you could change so that you do pass.
If you so choose, you may put in your post title:
"IC:" (standing for in community) at the beginning of your post, it says that you want opinions from only people in the trans community. I would encourage, in these posts, for people not so much to focus on how well the person passes, but focus on commenting on helping them how to pass.
"OC:" (standing for out [of] community) at the beginning will opt in to all ratings and ask for complete honesty. Still, I admonish you, if the person does not pass in your mind, tell them courteously, and tell them why and what they might be able to do to change it.
If you want to submit pics of yourself and don't really care about the passing aspect they are welcome! We like seeing all of you wonderful people. For courtesy, use an appropriate title or a tag like [Pic].
If you want to submit nsfw pics of yourself, head to /r/GoneWildTrans/ or /r/AmIASexyQueer.
Gaming Groups, come and play!
